Terms of service

These terms explain how renting and lending on OnYou works and what each side agrees to. By using OnYou you accept them.

01What OnYou is

  • OnYou is a marketplace that connects people who want to rent occasion wear (renters) with people who lend it (lenders). OnYou is not the owner of the pieces; each lender owns and is responsible for their own.

02Your account

  • You need an account to rent or lend, with a verified phone number. Keep your details accurate and your login private.
  • Lenders must verify their identity before they can be paid.

03Booking and payment

  • Rentals are booked in blocks of 4, 8, 12 or 30 days. You pay the full price, including Peace of Mind insurance, at checkout.
  • The lender has 24 hours to accept. If they decline or don't respond, you receive a full refund.
  • Pieces must reach the renter by the first day of the rental; earlier arrival is not guaranteed. Delivery is agreed between renter and lender in the rental chat.

04Lending and fees

  • Lenders set their own prices and approve every request. OnYou keeps 20% of the lender's price as commission (30% for OnUs managed listings); the lender receives the rest after the rental is complete.
  • Every listing is reviewed by OnYou before it goes live. We may decline or remove listings that don't meet our guidelines.

05Cancellations and refunds

  • Renters: full refund before the lender confirms or 72+ hours before the start; 50% between 24 and 72 hours; no refund under 24 hours.
  • Fit or condition problems must be reported within 24 hours of delivery, with photos, and before the piece is worn.
  • If a lender cancels a confirmed booking, the renter is refunded in full.

06Care, damage and returns

  • Renters must take reasonable care of the piece and return it by the agreed date in the condition received, apart from normal wear.
  • Peace of Mind insurance covers sudden accidental damage and loss up to ฿2,000 per rental. Damage beyond that is assessed by OnYou using the hand-over photos from both sides.

07Using OnYou fairly

  • Keep all communication and payment on OnYou. Contact details shared in chat are hidden automatically.
  • No harassment, fraud, counterfeit items or misleading listings. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
