Legal
Lender terms
Version 2026-01-01
Draft. This is a plain-language summary while our full legal text is being prepared and reviewed. It will be replaced before launch.
PLACEHOLDER — to be replaced with the final text from OnYou's legal adviser. These extra terms apply when you list pieces to lend on OnYou, on top of the general Terms of service.
01Pre-listing before launch
- You can add pieces before OnYou opens. Every piece is reviewed by OnYou; nothing can be booked until launch.
- Before your first payout you must verify your identity and add a bank or PromptPay account in your own name.
02Your pieces
- You confirm you own each piece (or have the right to lend it), that it is authentic, clean and in the condition described, and that your photos are of the actual piece.
03Prices and commission
- You set your own prices for 4, 8, 12 and 30-day blocks. OnYou keeps 20% of your price as commission (30% for OnUs managed listings).
04Requests and hand-overs
- You have 24 hours to accept or decline each request. Accepted pieces must reach the renter by the first day of the rental.
- Take photos of the piece and parcel at every hand-over — they are your evidence if anything is disputed.
05Payouts
- Payouts are made bi-weekly after the rental closes and the piece is returned. OnYou may withhold tax where the law requires.
